Innovation at Prostoria begins with process, not trends. Inside their Croatian workshop, designers, engineers, and craftspeople collaborate closely, refining each piece through hands-on experimentation. As the brand expands into the U.S. market, it brings a new perspective to contemporary furniture by combining sculptural design, material integrity, and a strong value proposition. Prostoria’s thoughtful approach proves that lasting quality and accessible design can exist together.
Designed by Neisako to eliminate the visual and spatial weight of typical reclining furniture, the Kontrapunkt Lounge Chair integrates an innovative reclining system into its armrests. The mechanism enables synchronized extension of the leg support and backrest tilt without adding external bulk. The seat and frame are shaped for ergonomic alignment, relying on material elasticity and internal structure for support. Multiple upholstery configurations, including fabric or leather, allow for application in both residential and commercial interiors. Optional comfort upgrades include feather padding and an adjustable head cushion.
The Avet Coffee Table, designed by Numen / For Use, features a triangulated metal base composed of slender, angled elements that form a skeletal geometric frame. This lightweight construction supports a toned glass tabletop, creating visual transparency and structural contrast. The open framework reduces visual mass, allowing the table to appear weightless within a room.
Designed by Neisako, the Up-Lift Armchair delivers a compact seating solution with built-in bed functionality. Two primary volumes rotate eccentrically to create seamless motion between chair and sleep configurations. The curved armrest integrates a wheel mechanism, and the sculpted backrest reduces visual volume while supporting full recline. Strategic use of elastic webbing and high-resilience foam enhances comfort without increasing mass. This convertible piece is part of a modular series, including a loveseat with dual-sleeping capability.
The Polygon Easy Chair by Numen / For Use is defined by its geometric complexity and space-efficient design. Built on a bent steel rod frame, the chair’s angular profile shifts visually from triangles to hexagons depending on the viewing angle. Compact in footprint, the chair references classic modernist proportions while introducing contemporary precision. Its structure delivers ergonomic support without visual or physical heaviness.
Crafted by Sanja Knezović, the Cloud Modular Sofa integrates clean geometry with a dual-layer construction: a structural cold foam base and a feather-filled surface for added comfort. The modular units are available in multiple widths, offering layout flexibility across living rooms, office lounges, and commercial interiors. Elevated armrests and low-profile seats define its visual identity, while natural fabrics contribute to a soft, enveloping feel.

Crafted using a combination of precision woodworking and hand-finished details, the Rhomb Dining Chair by SMPDO offers comfort, durability, and distinct form. The upholstered seat softens the solid wood structure, while the chair’s curved rhomboid elements create a strong visual identity. Available in a range of wood types and finishes
The Bik Dining Chair, designed by Numen / For Use, reduces the dining chair to its essential components—four legs, a molded plywood seat, and a curved backrest. Subtle details like tapered legs, a gentle backrest curvature, and rear leg inclination give the chair its identity. The widened rear legs are slightly offset to allow efficient stacking.
Designed by Simon Morasi Piperčić for SMPDO, the Rhomb Dining Table features rhomboid-shaped solid wood legs positioned diagonally at each corner, creating an asymmetrical and visually engaging base. Depending on the viewing angle, the legs appear either slim or wide, enhancing the table’s dynamic geometry. The tabletop features a lens-like surface and a sharp, knife-edge profile, which adds a sense of visual lightness, particularly striking in the lacquered version with a Fenix finish.
