The Botolo Chair is a multipurpose design by Cini Boeri for Arflex. Use it as a dining chair, a lounge chair, or as a work chair, and a place to think and be creative.
It is an unfortunate truth that women are less recognized for their work in the world of interior product design than their male colleagues, despite significant contributions to the field. Florence Knoll, Ray Eames, Eileen Gray, Charlotte Perriand, and many more have helped to shape what we know today as contemporary design. This week, we honor female designers from our catalog who have created beautiful work from their own unique perspectives. Discover the accomplishments of Women in Design.
German designer Theresa Rand was experimenting with ways of combining a table and storage when she stumbled upon the idea of the Turning Table. The design features a lid that opens by rotating it around one of the legs. The result is elegant, unpretentious and utterly addictive (show it to guests and they will be opening and shutting it for hours). Made by Menu.
The Sainte collection is composed of boldly hued laminated glass panels with pronounced presence and weight. The dynamic color options for this series harken a sense of majesty: lighting that creates a spectacle, that becomes a monument. Designed for Lambert & Fils in collaboration with Canadian designer Rachel Bussin.
Unusual convex lines are perfectly combined with a high volume silhoutte in the Pampukh Armchair. The design seems to melt beneath the user, enveloping them in peaceful comfort. In Ukrainian, "pampukh" is a traditional round fluffy bun, sprinkled with sugar powder. Designed by Victoria Yakusha.

The Cotton Chair allows the user to travel to a dreamlike world through its trendy and fun design. This cozy and welcoming armchair makes the user feel warm and protected, as if in an embrace. Designed by Eli Gutiérrez for Missana.
Designed by Rosie Li for her eponymous brand, the Lina 08-Light Schear Chandelier is an airy and geometric hanging form, with minimal fasteners and cable suspension.

Although simple in design, the asymmetrical arrangement of shelves and dividers in the Password Bookcase give the piece its strong personality. To add functionality, the design can be customized with drawers and doors. Designed by Terry Dwan for Riva 1920.
Designed by Patricia Urquiola for Coedition, the Altay Sofa features a solid beechwood frame and comfortable upholstered seat and pillows.
With inspiration from flowers, the Apiales 18 Satin Black features arms which unfold like flower stalks, from which light is spread with grace. This Sofie Refer design fits as the centerpiece in the foyer, a large living room, or over a large dining table. Made by Nuura.
A flexible system of seating designed by Farah Ebrahimi, the Shiraz Sofa impressively couples contemporary and classical elements. Each module of the sofa set contains two elements: the base (with or without a backrest, as desired) and the seat – an oversized down cushion that completes the sofa component.

Characterized by a lightweight metal seat structure, the Bernard Sofa is available as a two or three seater to suit residential or contract needs. Designed by Nina Mair for La Cividina.
The Galena Cabinet, designed by Hagit Pincovici, is a vertical cabinet with horizontal assembled drawers in a staggered manner to create a pleasant composition. The movement of the lacquered drawers contrasts the warm linear tones of the solid oak base. Made by Miniforms.
The Together Extending Table features rounded ends which act as drop leaves, creating a rectangular table when locked underneath. The design invites people to move up and get snug. Made by Ilse Crawford for De La Espada.
The J+I Zig + Zag Stool is the creation of Sakura Adachi, who designs pieces that are simultaneously conceptual and functional. This design is composed of two forms that can be used separately but also fit together like a puzzle to form one solid, cylindrical stool.
