Originally designed by Mario Marenco in 1970, the Marenco Sofa by Arflex offers comfort and style unlike any other sofa - reasons why it has stood the test of time.
As all humans possess different characteristics that embody who they are as a person, inanimate objects like furniture, lighting, and rugs also have key features that define their essence beyond functionality. This week, we've selected ten Type-A designs from our collection that have BIG Personality - from dramatic lines to playful materials and colors - these pieces exist to turn heads and get the conversations going.

The Block Side Table, designed by Anna Karlin, a London native now working in New York, is a discovery of marble and its stunning varieties and colors.
This Laurent Atelier 01 is poetic simplicity at its best. Inspired by the House of Cards game created by Charles and Ray Eames, its composition is meant to appear playful, like modules piled on top of each other in happenstance.

The Barry Table, designed by Alain Gilles for Miniforms, is distinctly graphic, sporting intriguing volumes - a mixture of solidity and lightness. The legs form a prominent feature and curl distinctly around themselves, revealing the table’s dynamic personality.
Note Studio created the Vestige Table for Sancal, whose sculptural base is formed by a rectangular block from which a cylindrical section has been subtracted from the upper part. A tempered glass top rests delicately on the fine lines that have been exposed by the intersection of both geometric figures. An honest aesthetic that exhibits strength and beauty in simple ways.
The customizable Zuma Side Chair is made in SHORE's 1" thick bold weave custom-engineered high-performance silicone. The soft, durable silicone textile is stretched over high-performance marine-grade foam, resulting in elegant curves and a soft yet sturdy form, great for indoor or outdoor use.
Master designer, Gino Sarfatti, was fascinated by the perfect light emitted by the Moon, and Model 2109 (also called Le Sfere), one of Gino Sarfatti’s most brilliant designs, is inspired by the natural poetry of the luminous satellite.
Created by Swedish design atelier, Studio Note, the Tonella collection of seating for Sancal was inspired by Spanish wine barrels - with the straight line quilting running down the outside of the piece, like staves, contrasting with the smooth interior cushions.
Founded in 1946, Ferreira de Sá is one of the biggest and oldest existing companies producing customizable hand-made rugs in Europe. Located in a small town in the north of Portugal, the company offers three different production techniques: the Hand-tufting, the Portuguese Hand-knotting (often called Beiriz Stitch) and the Hand-weaving.
