Tilda Coat Stand is a versatile and intriguing interior accessory that combines a coat stand with a pouf. The strength of this two-in-one solution lies in its creative melding of opposites: function meets aesthetics, fabric meets metal, and slender rods combine with a comfortable seat. An eye-catching, inviting yet practical solution for offices, lobby and waiting areas, and hotel rooms. As the central element, the upholstered pouf can be covered in any one of a range of stylish fabrics and leathers in a variety of colors. A versatile favorite that enjoys the limelight from time to time. Design by etc.etc. for Schönbuch.
Just like a sculpture, the Curtain Table toys with our perception – the symbolism of the wave increases all the more as the material qualities of the solid wood fade into the background. This harmonic symbiosis of form and material comes as a surprise, but also allows us to see the entire table as a self-restrained composition – rhythmically, the “curtains” create an atmosphere of floating serenity and inner calm. The dominant wave form was crafted from a solid block in a sculptural manner, carried out by latest CNC technology. The base is subsequently sanded by hand and oiled, bringing the flowing movement to life. Designed by Läufer & Keichel for Zeitraum.
The Soda Table was born upside-down, with a puff of air. It weighs 20 kilos, and it is blown, drawn out and shaped by three master glassmakers. The result is a single volume of glass with three large petals forming the stem. In Soda, the glass vibrates: its tough, hammered surface fragments its transparency to give a primitive aesthetic. This is artistic value granted to an industrial product. Designed for Miniforms by Yiannis Ghikas.
By definition, the Pipeline Chandelier features a cylindrical arrangement of linear illuminated sections cinched by metal hoops. Its chandelier-like from proposes an unconventional lighting solution, one that radiates and spreads from its concentric structure. Utilizing the linear components of the original Pipeline series, the chandelier introduces a new connector which conjoins all components together. The metal hoop comes in three diameters, thus offering a fixture for residential to larger scale commercial projects. Designed by Caine Heintzman.
Designers Studio Visser & Meijwaard describe their conception of the Lyn High Cabinet as a “graphic interplay between glass and the metal frameworks”. The doorless and diverse cabinet is equivalent to the designers’ ambition to rethink established forms, like they did in their past as fashion designers.
The reduction to the absolute essential form opens a free interplay of material and color. Depending on the lighting conditions, the viewer’s perspective and arrangement it casts the utmost of diverse highlights. The Lyn Cabinet is available in two sizes to suit different spaces and needs. Made by Pulpo.
