MANZU CHAIR by ALIAS
Description: Alias revisits a key archive project by Pio Manzù, the brilliant protagonist of Italian automobile design during the 1960s. The idea of producing the chair materialized after discovering its prototype in the GAMeC (Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art) of Bergamo, Italy, where Pio Manzù’s work archives are stored. Alias integrated a footrest on a four-star base, designed to be wholly coherent with the design and proportions of the chair, which clearly draws its inspiration from the automobile industry.
Finishes: Available in natural or black leather. Base available in polished or enameled aluminum in a variety of colors.
